Welcome to the inaugural post of the Pagan Podcasters Network.
Why have I created this space? I got reasons....
- I couldn't find a currently active site that wasn't based on voting, or rating, or ranking each other - and I really believe that there isn't any competition between us, and that there is room at the table for everyone.
- I'd like to have a different resource than iTunes to tell me who is out there in Pagan Podcast Land - only because they control who they list.
- I'd also like to know who has pod-faded. So there will be a separate list of those who are either permanently or temporarily "off the air" - let me know if you are going on hiatus.
- If we ever needed to do some activism on issues of free speech, censorship, religious rights, etc... it would help to have a place to start from, collective organization wise. And I've already found at least one issue that we might want to tackle... but that's for later.
Ask me to list you - and I will.
I will also work with you to create a little introductory post - with questions such as
- how long have you been doing this podcast?
- where are you from, geographically speaking
- what is your tradition or faith path (Wiccan, Druid, Witch, etc)
- do you have a blog? a website?
- do you want to be followed on Facebook? Twitter? Etc...
- "tell us a bit about yourself" - a brief bio of the hosts of the show.
- what is your "why" and what is your "UVP - unique value proposition" - why should people give you their precious time? I'm sure there are many good reasons!
All I ask in return is that you, as a pagan podcaster, "follow" this blog - to keep up with who is new out there - and to keep on top of any issues that may be affecting the pagan podcasting community that others bring to the table (If you want to be a contributor to this blog, let me know).
So there you have it. Our own little corner of the web. I just need to design a graphic and create a few promotional platforms on the web. Check out the Facebook Group!
...on a timeless wavelength...
Susan
